Sandefjord Seilforening is one of the oldest clubs in Norway, founded over 125 years ago. Located in beautiful and spectacular surroundings on the South-East Coast of Norway just south of Oslo.

Sandefjord has been the venue for several International and National Championships over the years; The Worlds in X 99, The Europeans in Soling and Mistral and when Kværner Innovation and Djuice prepared for the Volvo Ocean Race, they made Sandefjord their home base. The coastline outside Sandefjord is well known for its stable winds, insignificant tide and good weather conditions. The marina facilities has been moved from Framnes Maritime to Vera, an old Whaling Processing Plant and Harbour where launching, sail measurements and boat control will take place. There is also parking space for all the boat trailers. From here the boats will be towed over to Seilerholmen. In the evenings you can enjoy the facilities of the sailing club for the social events.
